Blog Post #8

1. It is first person because as the story goes it doesn't say the main characters first name it only says it when someon is talking to him but when Jabber is talking he says I.

2. The author makes me feel lots of moods such. The author writes about how things aren't going well for Jabber so that makes the reader feel bad or when Jabbers family finally lets him play what he wants and they don't bug him about it, it makes the reader feel good.

3. I feel like the authors tone at points are sad, mad, scared at times. Towards the end the story goes as what Jabber wanted to be his family let's him play soccer and doesn't bug him about it.

This reminds me of what Jabbers family would be like because he doesn't do what they want him to do even if it was for his father tha died. I think this when I'm reading the book because he thinks what his family or brother think of him and that they are disappointed on him.

"So what? Just because they played football does Jabber have to follow their footsteps? Horseradish! He's got a mind of his own. He could do what he wants."

I choose this quote because Jabber has a chance to be big in football because lot of people in his family play foot ball. His dad had a career in football so Jabber could have too but he's sticking to what he likes the most which is soccer. Even though everybody in his family tells him to play football he doesn't because he feels like soccer is right for him.  No one ever stood up for him until his sister said that. Since Jabber dad is dead they don't really have enough money for college for the kids so their uncle offered to play only if they play football but Jabber doesn't want too. He doesn't let no one bring him down even if they tell him stuff he sticks to what he likes the most.

Blog post 3

1. I wonder if Jabber would ever start playing football instead of soccer?
2. Why doesn't Jabbers family understand that he doesn't like football?
3. I wonder if Jabbers uncle would pay for his college fund even though he spdlesnt play football.
4. I wonder if Jabbers dad was alive how he would feel about him not playing football?
5.  Would Jabber get notice and go in a higher league for soccer?

Thoughts on animal testing

No because they need different stuff to survive and they do diefferent stuff.
No because they could become endangered if you keep doing it and you might just be harming them.
No because your just harming them.
No because we have different bodies so they might not work on them.

I'm a student currently in 8th grade. I like to hangout with friends and play soccer. What I like about 8th grade so far is that we aren't getting a lot of homework. I think I'm alright on biology because I try to focus on what we're doing in class and I am.
